The Hot Rod of the Kia lineup, the Kia Stinger is one of the most engaging, fun to drive vehicles on the road today. A mid-sized four-door sedan, with great handling and road manners, it is the slickest Kia yet and about as sharp as a scorpion. Get it? Yep. At Mid Rivers Kia, we get it, too. That's why we recommend bringing it to us so we can make sure it is being maintained properly by our Kia factory-certified mechanics.Powered by a choice of 2.0-liter Theta turbocharged inline four-cylinder or a 3.3-liter twin turbocharged Lambda V-6 Engine, both engines feed their power to Kia-built eight-speed automatic transmissions. The choice of whether you carry friends and family or just a single significant other are totally up to you. Just get in and do it. And when it comes time to take care of your Mid Rivers Kia Stinger, we know you will want to have a factory-trained specialist lead the charge. That's why we recommend you bring it to the service department at Mid Rivers according to the service schedule as published by Kia Motors America. No one knows your Stinger like the mechanics at Kia of Mid Rivers.
The Kia service intervals occur in multiples of 6,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. The first of these start at…wait for it…6,000 miles! At these intervals your Kia service technician will start with a drain and replacement of the synthetic motor oil in the engine, along with a new oil filter. We have found through experience that synthetic oil is able to withstand the rigors of high heat and humidity, in addition to being able to fight thermal breakdown that may be encountered by today's modern engines. At this time, your Mid Rivers Mechanic will change the in-cabin air filter, and then perform an inspection on the vacuum hose, brake lines and connections, disc brake pads and rotors, steering gear, suspension bits, and the air conditioner coolant. Finally, the whole process is wrapped up with a tire rotation so that all four tires are wearing evenly throughout the vehicle.
Before you know it, you'll be at 18,000 miles. Once again, we will change your synthetic oil and oil filter. Then, it's time for your Mid Rivers mechanics to perform a tire rotation and a series of more extensive inspections, which will include the engine and in-cabin air filters, the intercooler, including its in and out hose and air intake hose. The inspections continue with the air conditioning coolant and compressor, brake pads, rotors, hoses and lines, and vacuum hoses, the drive boots, the exhaust system and the complete power steering system. Then you're on your way.

At the 24,000-mile mark, it's the proper time a seeing-to that includes a
synthetic oil and filter change, a tire rotation, and the replacement
of the engine air filter and in-cabin air filter. The mechanics at Mid
Rivers will also check the power steering fluid, an inspection of fuel
lines, a check of the vacuum hoses, fuel hoses, vapor hoses and the fuel
filter cap, and finally, a multi-point inspection that tops off all
vital fluids, and makes sure all service campaigns and recall notices
have been taken care of.
